Staff Training

Occasionally we do have to close for staff training, which is usually twice a month on a Tuesday lunchtime.

Closure times: Tuesday 19th February 1:00pm to 2:00pm

                      Tuesday 26th February 1:00pm to 2:00pm

                      Tuesday 19th March 1:00pm to 2:00pm

                      Tuesday 26th March 1:00pm to 2:00pm

Consulting Times

Surgeries generally run from 8.30am until 12.00am and from 4.00pm to 6.00pm with an earlier afternoon surgery on some Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Extended hours surgeries are also offered on most Tuesdays with appointments available up until 8.00pm. These appointments are primarily for those patients who find it difficult to attend the surgery during normal surgery hours.

Please ask the receptionists when individual doctors are holding surgeries.

When We Are Closed

A doctor is available in an emergency 24 hours a day. When you telephone the surgery out of hours you will be automatically connected to the Nottingham out of hours service. This service is for emergencies that cannot wait until the surgery is open again. The doctor on call may give you advice or may ask you to attend the surgery the following day or make a visit to you in your home.

Please remember to only phone out of hours if it cannot wait until the surgery is open again.  Don't phone for routine enquiries.

If you have a serious EMERGENCY call 999 to request an ambulance.

NHS Direct (National)

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can also call NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Walk in Centre

The NHS Walk-in Centre is located on London Road next to the BBC.  This is a nurse led drop-in service offering health advice, information and treatment of minor ailments by experienced NHS nurses and health information advisors.  The centre is open 365 days a year from 7.00am to 9.00pm. 

Your local pharmacy can also offer advice about a range of medicines available without prescription to relieve minor illness and injuries.
